2013Hello,
I took an image from the Gulf of Mexico in NGC7000 with 7 channels: L R G B Ha OIII Hb. Exposure time was 70 minutes for L, R, G , B with subs of 5 minutes, 820 minutes for Ha, 300 minutes for OIII and Hb with 20 minutes subs.
Especially the line filters gave great color to the image. At the “coast” of the gulf you see a light which I extracted to the small image below. I do not know what this light is. If you know please tell me.
A Zoomify is found in the menu of the new images.
Kind regards
Reinhold

2013Hello,
I felt the time has come to take a new image of the Cocoon Nebula. So here it is with the Moravian G2-8300 at the 12″ f/4 Newtonian with LRGBHa = 430:100:100:100:290 minutes which gives a total exposure time of 17 hours. Subexposures were 10 minutes. I tried Hb too with 30 minutes subexposures but I did not use them because they did not really change the image.
Under the menu New Images you will find the zoomify version, so you can watch all the details of this beautiful nebula.
Best wishes
Reinhold

2013Hello,
I saw the famous Hubble Deep Field image and I wanted to take an image like this. So I centered my 12″ f/4 Newtonian at IC 3949 and exposed LRGB = 780:95:95:95 minutes. Subexposures were 5 minutes for RGB and 10 minutes for luminance.
