The Running Man

Hello,

the Running Man Nebula in Orion consists of  some NGC objects like NGC1973, NGC1975 and NGC1977.  Clouds and rain prevented me from taking more frames. But I am happy to have the opportunity to image this beautiful nebula.
Imaged with the Moravian G2-8300 at my 12″ f/4 Newtonian with L:R:G:B=210:150:160:70minutes. So the total exposure time was 10 hours. Subexposures were 30 minutes for L and 10 minutes for RGB. Because of some bright stars I added 12 frames L with 2 minutes exposure time each and blended them with the remaining frames in Photoshop.

The hidden galaxy IC342

Hello,

IC 342  an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Camelopardalis.  The galaxy is near the galactic equator where dust obscuration makes it a difficult object for both amateur and professional astronomers to observe, So sometimes it is called the hidden galaxy.
Imaged with the Moravian G2-8300 at my 12″ f/4 Newtonian with L:R:G:B=420:240:150:180 minutes. So the total exposure time was 16.5 hours. Subexposures were 30 minutes for LRGB.

Andromeda

Hello,

this is a part of our neighbour in space, the Andromeda Galaxy M31. Imaged with the Moravian G2-8300 at my 12″ f/4 Newtonian with L:R:G:B:Ha=960:310:310:310:390 minutes. So the total exposure time was 38 hours. Subexposures were 10 minutes for LRGB, 30 minutes for HA. I wanted a bit more of HA but the weather was against me. So I finished processing and hope you will enjoy this image.

Wizard Nebula

Hello,

this is the beautiful Wizard Nebula NGC 7380. Imaged with the Moravian G2-8300 at my 12″ f/4 Newtonian with L:R:G:B:Ha:OIII:SII=360:70:70:70:600:690:540 minutes. So the total exposure time was 40 hours. Subexposures were 10 minutes for LRGB, 30 minutes for Ha, OIII and SII.

Eastern Veil

Hello,

a few weeks ago I published the western part of the Veil Nebula. Today I finish my imaging of the Veil Nebula with the eastern part. Again with the Moravian G2-8300 at the Takahashi FSQ 106 ED with LRGBHaOIII=120:120:120:120:420.570 minutes. Total exposure time was 24 hours. Subexposures were 10 minutes for LRGB, 30 minutes for Ha and OIII.

Western Veil

Hello,

this is the western part of the beautiful Veil Nebula, imaged with the Moravian G2-8300 at the Takahashi FSQ 106 ED with LRGBHaOIII=70:70:70:70:300.300 minutes. Total exposure time was 29 hours because this is a 2 frame mosaic. Subexposures were 10 minutes for LRGB, 30 minutes for Ha and OIII.
